Hello, and welcome to my website!
My name is Zahra, but since I was born, everyone has called me Ideh, which is rooted in the word "idea." Even my name has an idea!
From a young age, I have been passionate about art and creating. Although I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, my love for design never faded. I taught myself Adobe software and soon found myself drawn back to the world of graphic design.
I have over 8 years of experience working with Adobe software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere, as well as 3D work in Blender. Currently, I am pursuing an MFA in Graphic Design and an MS in Human-Computer Interaction at Iowa State University. I also serve as a teaching assistant in the College of Design, where I work closely with freshmen students, learning and growing with them.
In addition to freelance work, I have gained valuable experience working in-house as a graphic designer in the U.S. and at a branding agency. As a designer, I am inspired by nature, typography, and modern design trends. My work focuses on creating intuitive, user-centric solutions that not only look visually appealing but also communicate a message effectively. My research interests revolve around social issues and using design to make society a better place.
